Waechtersbacher Keramik was a pottery factory located in Bachttal and was established in 1832 by Prince Adolf of Ysenburg and Bündingen.
At the beginning of the 20th century, it launched the Art Nouveau-style ceramics imagined by various architects and artists, including Hans Christiaensen, a member of the artists' colony of Darmstadt.
After an eventful end of the century, the earthenware factory will definitively close its doors in 2011.
